It's as easy as 1 2 3, here are the three basic
steps in bulb planting, with guaranteed full bloom
and longer lasting flowers...
1. Fill the bottom of your container with
pinecones or chipped crockery. There is no
need to overfill a larger sized container with
costly potting mix and organic fertilizer.
2. Plant your bulbs while giving consideration
to their placement and eventual colors.
Think about height, width, cascading
features and relationship to each other once
they have fully grown.

3. Remember the importance of a two-part planting
process. By initially planting bulbs about 3/4 of
the way with your potting mix and fertilizer, and following
up with another layer to about 3 or 4
inches from the edge of your container, you should expect a
more luxurious bloom and longer
lasting flower.
